2009 NESC Season Underway!!
The 2009 NESC debuted on Sunday April 5, 2009 to a packed crowd at Central Cycle Club, so packed that we actually had to turn some people away as there were no more spots to park. The weather played a big role as it was a beautiful sunny day, the fans were treated to some great racing action. The expert class had lots of normal heavy hitters(John Dowd, Keith Johnson, Tony Lorusso) and the emergence of the Next Generation was also there too, Robby Marshall and Jimmy Decotis were also absolutely flying. Jimmy took the first Pro/Expert Moto win of the year. Crashes the rest of the day would hurt his results but his speed is solid and he will be a force anytime he is on the track.
Several Pro/Experts took advantage of running 250 2-strokes in the lites class and it clearly showed that the 2-stroke is far from a dinosaur.
